Fastest option: Delete your account directly in the Welica app.
If you can still access the app, that is the quickest and most complete way to permanently remove your account and its associated data.
1. Delete your account in the app
- Open Welica.
- From the Feed screen, tap the settings icon.
- Open your Profile screen.
- Scroll to Delete Account.
- Follow the confirmation and re-authentication prompts.
This method immediately starts permanent deletion of your account and associated user data.
2. Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email us and we can process a deletion request for you.
- Email: support@welica.app
- Subject line: Account Deletion Request
- Include: The email address associated with your Welica account
- Processing window: We will process valid requests within 30 days
3. What gets deleted
- Profile information and account credentials, including your Welica account record and linked sign-in identity.
- Learning progress, course enrollments, and quiz responses associated with your account.
- Reflections and AI-generated feedback stored for your learning experience.
- Career fit profiles, saved roles, and preferences associated with your account.
- Wellness check-in data and pulse history stored in your account.
- Feed interactions, preferences, and snapshots linked to your account.
- Notification preferences and device tokens associated with your account.
- Onboarding selections and other account-scoped personalization data.
4. What may be retained temporarily
- Crash reports: retained for up to 90 days in anonymized form and not linked back to your deleted account.
- Aggregated analytics: retained according to Firebase Analytics policy, currently up to 14 months, and not personally identifiable after account deletion.
- Backup copies: retained for up to 90 days for disaster recovery, then permanently deleted.
