Fastest option: Delete your account directly in the Welica app.

If you can still access the app, that is the quickest and most complete way to permanently remove your account and its associated data.

1. Delete your account in the app

  1. Open Welica.
  2. Open Profile.
  3. In the account actions section, select Delete account.
  4. Follow the confirmation and re-authentication prompts.

This method immediately starts permanent deletion of your account and associated user data.

2. Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email us and we can process a deletion request for you.

  • Email: support@welica.app
  • Subject line: Account Deletion Request
  • Include: The email address associated with your Welica account
  • Processing window: We will process valid requests within 30 days

3. What gets deleted

  • Profile information and account credentials, including your Welica account record and linked sign-in identity.
  • Learning progress, course enrollments, and quiz responses associated with your account.
  • Reflections and AI-generated feedback stored for your learning experience.
  • Career fit profiles, saved roles, and preferences associated with your account.
  • Wellness check-in data and pulse history stored in your account.
  • Feed interactions, preferences, and snapshots linked to your account.
  • Notification preferences and device tokens associated with your account.
  • Onboarding selections and other account-scoped personalization data.

4. What may be retained temporarily

  • Crash reports: retained by Firebase Crashlytics for up to 90 days. Deleting your account does not automatically delete provider-held crash reports.
  • Analytics: previously collected app-instance events and properties follow Welica's configured Google Analytics retention settings and Google's aggregate-reporting handling. Account deletion does not automatically erase that historical analytics data.
  • Backup copies: retained for up to 90 days for disaster recovery, then permanently deleted.
  • Purchase records: Apple, Google, and Paddle may retain transaction records under their own legal and retention requirements. Deleting your Welica account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel an app subscription through the relevant store, or cancel a web subscription through the link in the Paddle receipt email or at paddle.net.
